Itineraries
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Tinchuley
Your Plan
Upon your arrival at NJP, you will be driven to Tinchuley. The journey to this scenic village passes through the beautiful Peshok View Point. Tinchuley, located at an altitude of 5,800 feet in the Darjeeling district and just 3 kilometers above Takdah, is a quaint mountain village. Along the way, stop at the Lover’s Meet point for a quick visit. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk through the village and bask in the peaceful ambiance, accompanied by the soothing sounds of birdsong and the refreshing sight of ancient pine trees.
Day 2: Transfer from Tinchuley to Dawaipani
Your Plan
Start your day early with a hike to the highest point, Gumbadara, where you can watch the stunning sunrise before returning to the homestay. After breakfast, head towards Dawaipani, making stops at notable attractions such as Peshok Tea Garden, Lamahatta Park, Runglee Rungliot Tea Estate, Takda Heritage Bridge, and Takdah Orchid Center. In the afternoon, enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjungha and the serene tea gardens at Dawaipani. As evening falls, the sparkling lights of Darjeeling’s hills will dazzle you like a thousand stars.
Day 3: Transfer from Dawaipani to Rongbull
Your Plan
After breakfast, depart Dawaipani for Rongbull, stopping at scenic locations like the Lepchajagat View Point, Ghum Monastery, and Batasia Loop along the way. Upon arrival in Rongbull, you will be enchanted by the beauty of this resort surrounded by lush tea gardens. Take your time to explore the area and enjoy a relaxing stroll through the nearby village after lunch.
Day 4: Full Day Excursion in Darjeeling and Overnight Stay
Your Plan
After breakfast, depart Rongbull for Darjeeling, a charming hill station. On the way, visit famous landmarks such as the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Zoo, HMI, Museum, Ropeway, Tea Gardens, Tenzing Rock, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. In the evening, spend some leisurely time at Darjeeling Mall with your loved ones, then head to Batasia Loop before checking into your hotel for the night.
Day 5: Transfer to Jalpaiguri Rail Station/Bagdogra Airport
Your Plan
After breakfast, bid farewell to Darjeeling and head towards NJP/IXB. Along the way, make stops at Mirik, Simana View Point, Gopal Dhara Tea Estate, and Pashupati Market, among other noteworthy attractions.
