Itineraries
Day 1: Arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri
Your Plan
Arrive and drive to Darjeeling, where you will check in to your hotel or resort. In the evening, you are free to explore the Mall area. Enjoy a relaxing night stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Your Plan
Start your day early with a drive through lush oak and magnolia forests to Tiger Hill (8,000 ft) to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour, which includes visits to the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), the Ropeway, Tenzing–Gombu Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sundays), a scenic tea estate, the Lebong Racecourse, and the Japanese Temple. Other notable stops include the Peace Pagoda, Lalkothi, Dhirdham Temple, Ava Art Gallery, and the Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays). You’ll return to the hotel after the tour, and the evening is free to roam around the Mall or explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Kalimpong
Your Plan
After breakfast, the day is free for shopping or leisure. Later in the day, travel to Kalimpong, a tranquil hill station located on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1,243 meters (4,078 ft). The scenic drive follows the Teesta River, and Kalimpong is renowned for its beautiful orchids, rare cacti, and vibrant nurseries. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 4: Kalimpong Sightseeing

Enjoy an early breakfast and start your sightseeing in Kalimpong. Key attractions include Durpin Monastery, Army Golf Course, local nurseries, Deollo Hill, Hanuman Tok, and Dr. Graham's Home. If time allows, explore heritage buildings like Gouripur House and Morgan House. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 5: Kalimpong to Kurseong
